Paralegal Officers Under Going Trianing On How To An Interview With Potential Clients Conduct 1

01.

Paralegal Clinics

Our Paralegal section trained 100 Paralegals who are working in different Parishes. They were trained in groups on the rules, principles, and values that regulate the conduct of individuals and institutions in a state. There are well-settled clinics in the following locations: Chisitu, Zalewa, Bvumbwe, Phalombe, Mwanza, Chemusa, Neno, and Nkhwayi. The representation of the paralegals has been exceptionally praiseworthy. They have been relentlessly working in village mediation services, facilitating dispute resolution and promoting access to justice.

02.

Civic Education Programs

We conduct civic education programs designed to inform community members about their rights and responsibilities. Through workshops and community outreach, we empower individuals with the knowledge necessary to participate actively in governance, vote responsibly, and hold local authorities accountable, fostering a more informed and engaged citizenry.

Advocacy Initiatives

Our Paralegal team is now working on reducing all forms of violence throughout the country, particularly in the areas where they are active. This is also done in collaboration with other agencies or institutions that have similar objectives, like the police, courts and gender social welfare office.

Youth Empowerment Programs

The Shaping Girls Future Project in Neno District is being implemented in the Traditional Authorities of Mlauli, Chekucheku, Symon and Dambe. The main aim of the project is to promote education rights and economic empowerment by eliminating harmful cultural practices and distributing scholarly materials to 100 girls. Other important aspects of the project include vocational skills training for young mothers and women, access to legal services through paralegal clinics established by CCJP in the Archdiocese of Blantyre, and payment of school fees for vulnerable, needy students, especially the girl child.
